We got a lift from Big Rog yhat year I think, What Im sure of is that we got to Catherines flat in good time cos we knew she would need to crimp her hair (2 hours on a good day or 4 if "medicated") however after a good period of fussing around she muttered something about clean clothes and disappeared to the freakin LAUNDERETTE for 2 hours...so we missed the Babes AND Silverfish....
Im not a great Nirvana fan but I understand they are popular in some parts... I remember being transfixed for a few moments by the bass players outfit (Purple Tee, High waisted Red jeans) before wandering off to find a drink and get ready for Chapterhouse....

So much of what your memory tells you is incorrect. The "going to the launderette" - AND ON YOUR BIRTHDAY ! was the year before -we missed the flaming lips.... 1991 was when you drove me Mark and Donna to the festival. YOU got escorted off the site during babes in toyland for crowd surfing (1991 !!! - they hadn't even banned it at that stage) We also saw silverfish . Unfortunately there is no film available of me lending my lighter to some american guy named Kurt something that I have no recollection of but apparently happened..according to "hunter" who i bumped into at Glastonbury a few years ago..he was doing lights for the Prodigy if i remember right.Can you stick the headbutt at the falcon video up please - your copy must be better than the one already on you tube?
